Building the Suburbs
Suburban Screams began in the Spring of 2020 by the Housewife of Horror and her husband, The Mister of Horror. They wanted a place to share their show, but also a platform for other Horror Hosts to share their content. By creating an on demand channel, they hoped to provide a network for the Horror Host community to easily promote the content they love.
As the channel launched, Suburban Screams had only a handful of shows. Slowly, it bumped its total up to 12 shows provided by creators from around the world with various content ranging from traditional Horror Hosted films to craft and cooking shows.
In November of 2021, Suburban Screams changed ownership. With the 2020 Pandemic inching closer to an end and the free time it created disappearing, the Housewife of Horror and The Mister of Horror no longer had the time they once had to continue the operation of Suburban Screams. The channel then moved into the hands of Dustin T. Dust, host of The Morbs; a show added to the line up in April of 2020.
Dustin T. Dust has the same goals and dreams for Suburban Screams as its creators. He hopes the channel will provide a common space for Horror Hosts and independent Horror themed show creators to network and lurk in the suburbs.
